NZ Government Traffic Light Policy For Hospitality Business.
The Executive Committee of the Tauranga Returned and Services association (inc.) on receipt of the “Traffic Light” legislation institutes the following directive
1. That the Tauranga RSA becomes a Vaccination Certificate Venue at 11.59pm Thursday 2nd December 2021.
2. That ALL Members, Guests and Contractors entering the complete RSA complex must be double vaccinated and able to present a current Vaccination Certificate.
3. These conditions are to apply to persons entering the RSA Club, Oak Tree Restaurant and the Accommodation currently leased by Te Tuinga Whanau through the common front entrance (foyer) to those areas.

To be held in the Clubrooms at 1237 Cameron Road, Tauranga on 12th December 2021 at 1pm.
To announce the result of the mail out vote dated 7th November 2021.
Approve Sale: Motion. – That this meeting approves the sale of this RSA property located at 1237 Cameron Road, Tauranga at the Current Registered Valuation and the Leaseback Arrangements agreed between the Executive of the Tauranga RSA and a Prospective Purchaser.
Current COVID-19 restrictions will apply. Please Present your Membership Card for registration.
If a quorum is not present, the meeting will be adjorned until 1pm, 19th December 2021.

The voting papers were mailed on Thursday 4th November. If you have not received them by now – please let the office know and we will arrange replacements. Please tick one of the squares and return asap to the office by the 7th December 2021.
All voting papers will be scrutineered and counted by JPS the next day. The results will be revealed at the EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting)

Rules For Sub-clubs/Activities
- Scan Both Your Member’s Card And The Covid Qr Code Upon Entry To The Club
- The Wearing Of Masks As Per The Covid Rules.
- No Food Or Drinks To Be Brought In From Outside.
- Follow Bar Staff Requests And Be Kind.
Financial Members and/or Affiliated Members only allowed to play or participate during Level 2 activities. – It is only $30 per year to join up and that works out to only 60 cents per week for 12 months.
Remember Everyone – The Delta Covid Levels are totally different to the 1st Level One that we had before.
Club Night Saturday From 4pm – Includes Raffles and Swindle. The ODE will be recited at 6pm.
Friday Clubs Nights to start on 3rd December – Joker’s Wild and Meat raffles. We welcome members of the 6th Hauraki Battalion for social gatherings.
Housie Friday 12.30. Tables Will Be Spaced Apart And Number Of Players Reduced. Financial Members And/or Affiliated Members Only. Final Day Is Friday 10th December.
- Quiz Night Weds 7pm – Held in Member’s Bar. Teams reduced To 6 per team. First round to start at 7.15pm.

We have been advised by the government and Clubs NZ not to hold any Pool/8 Ball or Darts Club nights until further notice.

Everyone must sign in using qr code scan or sign the registry. Masks to be worn until you sit at the tables. Also keep your spacing and be kind to the bar staff. Restrictions apply for the gaming area (no food or drinks allowed under level 2 in the gaming area) as well. Check with the bar staff.
On Wednesday 17th November, 12 Returned Personnel were presented with “ANZAC QUILTS” at the Tauranga RSA.
This project is an offshoot of one started in USA in 2003 called “Quilts of Valor” Catherine Roberts of Iowa started this firstly for her son who served in Afghanistan. Since then quilters in America have made over 250,000 quilts.
This scheme is also operating in Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and soon to be in South Korea. Now we are trying to get it up an running in New Zealand under the more appropriate name of Anzac Quilts. To date it is only operating in Tauranga and Mount Maunganui and so far 73 quilts have been presented.
Mobility Scooter For Sale
The scooter is an Invacare Comet Pro with side mirrors and a carrier on back for a walker. This scooter was purchased new approximately 3 months ago and has done less than 10 hours usage. Unfortunately my father is now in a resthome and is unable to take it with him. We would like $4800 ono for his scooter.
